The Chaamse Bossen lie between Breda and Tilburg and are part of the historical Barony of Breda. This vast nature area consists of forests, heathlands, brooks and old polders with fens. In the early 20th century large parts were drained and transformed into grassland. Thanks to nature restoration fens and marsh areas are now returning, making the Chaamse Bossen once again rich and varied in nature.
