Previously, when it was laid out in 1975, this park was called 'Bonanzapark'. Nature changed to grazing nature and in 1995 was named 'Overstegen Nature Park'. Trees were left in place, the banks of streams and ponds were dug up in a nature-friendly manner and pools were created: the ideal place for Scottish Highlanders. These animals have been grazing the park for about 20 years. It is also possible to come across a herd of sheep.
