National Military Museum - Soest
The former Soesterberg airbase is also home to the National Military Museum. You will be amazed, because there are more than 300,000 objects here. This makes the museum the largest military collection in the Netherlands. All these objects tell the story of the armed forces. From a large collection of fighter planes, machines, firearms, military cars and tanks, to uniforms, books, paintings and photographs.
A lot of attention is paid to the First and Second World Wars, but other wars and peace missions are also covered. With several floors and an outdoor exhibition, there is plenty to discover.
