Museum 't Oude Slot - Veldhoven
Discover the history of Veldhoven in Museum 't Oude Slot. The place where the museum is located has existed since the year 1203. At the time, it was a fief in the possession of the count of Sint-Oedenrode. In the years that followed, the feudal estate was owned by various families, and in 1964 the Veldhoven municipality bought the historic farmstead.
Since then, it has hosted various historical exhibitions and nowadays it is even possible to get married in the museum. The museum owns a collection of folk prints from the 17th to early 20th centuries, as well as interesting utensils from bygone eras, which tell us more about the agricultural and industrial history of this region.
