Museum station Beekbergen is an open-air museum steam depot with a large collection of rolling stock, a unique turntable used to turn the locomotives, an old workshop, a beautiful station building with original station office and much more reminiscent of days gone by.
The funny thing is that a steam train still regularly runs on the Apeldoorn-Dieren route. You can combine a train ride with a visit to the museum. For timetables, check the museum's website.
The open-air museum can also be visited without a train ride daily, from sunrise to sunset, during your cycle route.
