In Museum Kranenburgh you will find an art collection from the year 1900 to the present. You can see and do an awful lot here, but the art of the Bergen School forms the core of the museum. Bergen was an artists' village: the natural landscape and the special light caused artists to settle here. Names such as Charley Toorop, Else Berg, Leo Gestel, Gustave de Smet and Jan Sluijters are not unknown here. Masterpieces by these artists hang in this museum!
