N 52.0204798 / E 5.0471006

Museum IJsselstein, also known as MIJ, tells you about the infamous fortified town of IJsselstein. With changing exhibitions, you will learn about the historic city centre, such as the 16th-century castle tower.

Besides history, there is also a focus on art. You will see inspiring and amazing exhibitions by various artists.

Educational programmes and guided tours let you know everything in detail in a fun, approachable way.

Also, don't forget to take a look at the Canon Wall in the museum. Here you will see the complete history of IJsselstein on some 35 square metres, drawn by artist Fedor van Rossem. Take the audio tour and marvel at this extraordinary work of art.
