Museum farm & country shop De Weistaar - Maarsbergen
Some 40 years ago, the Van Wolfswinkel family started making cheese and butter here. Over the years, the original dairy has expanded to include a cheese museum, room hire and experiential packages. Always taking into account the rural character and special landscape in which De Weistaar is located.
A visit to the Cheese and Butter Museum takes you back in time. Naturally, it shows how cheese and butter were made, but in addition, you walk past farm facades, a village square and streets with authentic shops. Between the dolls dressed in traditional costume, it is as if you really live in the village!
Pick up a farm souvenir from the country shop, where you will find all kinds of surprising products. Think gift packages, drink combinations, breakfast products and, of course, real farmhouse cheeses.
