Old-fashioned boats patiently wait to take you through the stunning Realm of a Thousand Islands.
The old wooden building creaks softly against the water. A total of 1900 wooden poles keep this National Monument above water. It includes an auction hall from 1912 and boat halls from 1922, you can feel the history in every board. This is where it all started!
Museum BroekerVeiling in Broek op Langedijk is the world's oldest sail-through vegetable auction, founded in 1887. The reverse auction system started here, and is now used worldwide.
