This building in Neo-Classical style by architect C.H. Peters dates from 1911. The building served as the home of the coin, later became the building of the Money Museum and is now a conference and events venue. But it still lives up to its name: this is where the Dutch coins are minted.
The building still radiates the grandeur that the architect had in mind and is still one of the most beautiful buildings in Utrecht. In principle, the building can only be admired from the outside, but the central hall can also be visited during opening hours.
