Motorbike museum Friesland - Raerd
Gerrit and Greetje Miedema's motorbike museum in the Frisian village of Raerd displays a special collection of vintage motorbikes and cars.
The private collection grew bigger and bigger as Gerrit had more and more trouble getting rid of his old motorbikes when he bought a new one. He decided to keep the old-timers and share his hobby with other interested parties. Thus was born the museum, which is open on Saturday afternoons, but also at other times by appointment.
A guided tour, with Gerrit's stories, is highly recommended during your bike ride through the Frisian countryside.
