Monastery Garden Deventer - Deventer
In the middle of the historic centre of Deventer you will find the peaceful Monastery Garden, a hidden green inner garden surrounded by centuries old walls. The garden is a remnant of the monastery garden of the former Buyskenshuis, a sisters’ house of which walls and structures are still standing. From the garden you have a beautiful view of the tower of the Lebuinuskerk and you can take a moment to relax among the greenery.
The Monastery Garden can be freely visited during the day and is an ideal stop during your city cycling tour. If the garden is closed you can report to the Athenaeumbibliotheek, which is connected to the complex.
