Mill Het Klaverblad - Zaandam
Whereas there used to be an abundance of sawmills in the Zaan region, nowadays there are only a few left, one of them being Het Klaverblad. For years, the builder, Mr R. Pos, was a volunteer miller at another mill at the Zaanse Schans. When that mill was leased to others and he stopped working there after careful consideration, he wanted to build his own mill. That is how Het Klaverblad came into being.
Almost all the work was carried out by Pos himself. The mill is now owned by Het Klaverblad Foundation. However, Mr Pos remains a driving force in the foundation.
