MeierijHop - Sint-Oedenrode
On the edge of Boskant near Sint-Oedenrode, father and son Vos have been growing their own hops since 2021 on over one hectare of land under the name MeierijHop. The thousands of hop plants produce enough hops each year for around 600,000 litres of beer.
After the harvest, the hop cones are carefully picked, dried and packaged for local breweries in the adjoining hall. MeierijHop cultivates various varieties, each with its own taste and aroma, bringing new life to the centuries-old hop tradition in the Meierij.
