Lunchroom ’t Veurhuus is located in the centre of Sleen, in a charming old building that once served as a doctor’s home and later as a police station. You can still see that history in the details of the interior, which is warmly decorated with a mix of old and new.
The menu offers classic lunch favourites like fried eggs, toasties, soup and salad, plus homemade cakes and quality coffee. They use regional ingredients as much as possible and prepare a lot in-house. Inside there’s plenty of space, and outside you can sit on the front terrace with a view of the village.
The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Visitors are welcomed with care, cyclists, walkers and locals alike stop by for coffee and a chat.
