Lookout hill Distelbelt - Bergentheim
On the cycle path between the Stuwdijk and the Brinkweg, you will find De Distelbelt, a seven-metre-high viewing hill. You reach the top via stairs. Once there, you look out over beautiful nature and the valley of the Vecht. This river has meant a lot to this region: it was an important passage for shipping. Fishing and agriculture were also able to develop thanks to the water flow. On the plateau on the hill, you can read more about the history of the Vecht and its inhabitants.
