Linschoten country estate - Linschoten
Landgoed Linschoten, with over 500 hectares, is the largest contiguous estate in the Randstad. The estate was founded in the 17th century by the Strick van Linschoten family
and includes lands, farms and Linschoten House with landscape park. Since the death of the last owner, the estate has been managed by a foundation. The house and
surrounding park are usually closed.
In spring, however, there are two weekends when classical concerts take place in the House (see the website).
A footpath leads past the entrance to Linschoten House and its park. You can also cycle around the park and then continue the route towards Oudewater.
NB: It is also a Tourist Transfer Point
