Between the hills you come across the former lime kiln: Kalkoven 't Rooth. It stands close to Groeve 't Rooth. The kiln was put into operation in 1939 by the owners of the quarry at the time, but the lime kiln was discontinued in 19466. Nevertheless, this is an impressive building in the middle of nature.
