The famous Leiden painter Jan Steen lived in Warmond from 1658 to 1660. Jan Steen may have lived in this house in Warmond. In 1926, a memorial stone was unveiled at the Jan Steen house. Historians have since conducted further research. In the Jan Steen walks, guides reveal the truth! Diagonally opposite the Jan Steen house is a bust of Jan Steen. This was made in 2008 by the Leiden sculptor Jeroen Spijker.
