Het Welle terrace - Deventer
As long as the weather and the water level of the IJssel allow it, Het Welle terrace is open in spring and summer. But the IJssel cannot be tamed. The unpredictable water level of the river can rise significantly, which means the terrace sometimes has to be temporarily removed.
Under normal circumstances Het Welle terrace is a wonderful place by the water. Because honestly: what could be nicer than enjoying the view with a drink in your hand, a breeze along your cheeks and your feet on the railing? Simply relaxing in a place that is occasionally claimed by the mighty, centuries old river IJssel.

Het Welle terrace is built from the moment the high water period has ended. Usually around April or May, but it can also be June.
