Het Schip (“The Ship”) is a museum dedicated to the architecture and design by the Amsterdam School. The museum is housed across three adjacent social housing complexes, designed by Michel de Klerk. Parts of the Museum have retained their residential function, and you will discover how people lived before and after the introduction of the Dutch Social Housing Act. There is a guided tour every hour, during which you will get to know all ins and outs of the Amsterdam School.
