Googermill - Roelofarendsveen
The 1717 Googermill is a large round, conical masonry mill and is located on the Ringvaart of the Haarlemmermeer.
The mill now serves as an auxiliary pumping station for the Googerpolder and is used in the event of extreme flooding or if the pumping station does not work. The Googerpolder has is 270 hectares, the head is 4.30 meters. Displacement: 30,000 liters per minute!
