Fort Jutphaas is optimally located in the centre of the Netherlands, hidden in a green oasis in Nieuwegein. In a rustic setting, you can enjoy a delicious lunch as well as a cup of coffee and a delicious pastry. In the past (from 1940) this fort was used by the Germans as a transmission and reception station for the German fleet. After the Allies had located the transmitter, the fort was bombed. Several times even. After this Fort Jutphaas was renovated. Until the end of 2018 it served as a wine fort.
