Flying Museum Seppe is a unique aviation museum in West Brabant, located at Breda International Airport in Bosschenhoofd, formerly known as Seppe Airport. The museum is entirely dedicated to the history of powered flight.
The collection features historic aircraft from the early to mid 20th century, including propeller planes, trainers and light aircraft. A few examples from the collection:
- Tiger Moth (1940)
- Taylorcraft / Auster
- Saab 91 Safir
- Piper Cub variants
- Stinson L 5
- Boeing Stearman
- Messerschmitt Me 109
- Replica of the Wright Flyer (one of the first aircraft ever built)
It’s truly a flying museum: many of the aircraft here are still airworthy and regularly take to the skies. Sometimes, you can even climb into a real plane yourself and feel what it’s like to be a pilot.
Friendly volunteers offer tours and are happy to share their knowledge.
