You are looking at one of the oldest preserved lighthouse buildings in the Netherlands (the oldest is the Brandaris). This 14-meter-high tower is called the Vuurbaak, but is also called Vierboet. Are you curious what it looks like from about 30 meters above sea level? Then you have to climb the stairs until you are in the hallway. In 1605 the request for the construction of the Vuurbaar was submitted. Approval did not come until 1628.
