Falconry Settels Birds of Prey - Bunschoten-Spakenburg
Owner Jeroen Settels has been fascinated by birds of prey all his life. Falconry started as a hobby, but in 2012 he decided to make it his profession. His falconry has now developed into a centre for falconry and nature education. With his team of volunteers and trainees, he provides daily educational workshops and interactive bird demonstrations.
A visit to the falconry centre teaches you all about the more than 45 species of birds of prey that are kept here. You can see different species of eagles, vultures, hawks, falcons, kites, caracaras, buzzards and owls. But other predatory birds are also flown here. During a demonstration or workshop, you may suddenly see a stork, heron or pelican standing next to you.
To attend a demonstration or workshop, you need to make a reservation first.
