Freerk is the eighth generation of fisherman in his family. He takes his boat out onto the Frisian lakes and uses his trap to catch all kinds of fish, including eels. This eel is smoked and sold at home after the catch. Usually the eel is smoked on Friday, as you can see by the smoke signal. If you see the smoke, you are welcome to take a look. The smoked eel is also for sale, delicious for at home.
