Dwingelderveld Visitor Centre - Ruinen
Begin your discovery of the Dwingelderveld at Natuurmonumenten's visitor center. The center offers extensive information, interactive exhibits and plenty of activities for visitors of all ages. There is a map, created by artist Erna van Sambeek and volunteers who used wool from the Drentse heath sheep for this purpose.
You here also take away regional products, snacks and souvenirs or enjoy reading about nature in the reading attic. There is a cozy catering facility where you can stretch out on the lounge sofas and enjoy a cup of coffee, a snack or a refreshing drink.
