This village can be reached almost exclusively by boat. Take the ferry from Jonen to Dwarsgracht and experience one of the beautiful water villages in the Weerribben-Wieden. The village is as characteristic as Giethoorn thanks to its many side canals, finders and authentic wooden bridges.

Along the canals are thatched houses and farms. Until recently, Dwarsgracht's last farmers still transported their cows to pasture by boat, a beautiful sight! Can you picture one of those cow boats sailing along the waterways?
