Dutch Reformed Church Meerkerk - Meerkerk
The church was built around the year 1400, but the exact year cannot be traced. What is known is that a large part of the church was destroyed by a major fire in 1828. Only the choir was spared. In 1832, 1953 and 1991, the church was restored to its present form. The year of the pulpit is also unknown; it is thought to date from the second half of the 17th century. The same does not apply to the staircase, which was replaced in 1998.
