Dommerholts ferry - Gorssel

During the cycling season, the Dommerholtsveer (Dommerholts ferry) sails between Gorssel and Wilp. The ferry takes pedestrians and cyclists back and forth across the IJssel, ideal during your cycling trip. The surroundings are even more beautiful from the water.

The ferry sails 7 days a week from 9.30 am to 6 pm. Please note: sails only from mid-April to the last weekend of October. If you cycle out of season, you can detour via the following junctions:

Want to cross the IJssel and then head towards Deventer?
From Gorssel: follow junctions 27-47-63-24 and, if necessary, take the Deventer ferry to junction 61 (7.1 km) or continue cycling to 64-14 and cross the IJssel via the Zwarte pad (9.2 km).
From Wilp: follow junctions 17-16-61 take the Deventer ferry to junction 24 (5.4 km) or continue cycling to 14-64 and cross the IJssel via the Zwarte pad (7.4 km).

Want to cross the IJssel and then head towards Zutphen?
From Gorssel: follow junctions 27-54-57-34-96-40-10 and cross the IJssel via Kanonsdijk to junction 01 (11.2 km).
From Wilp: follow junctions 17-49-37-35-36-01 and, if necessary, cross the IJssel via Kanonsdijk to junction 10 (11.6 km).
