De Zeven Observation Tower - Ravenswoud
Despite its height of 18 metres (60 feet), going up the stairs of this observation tower isn’t going to make you uncomfortable even if you’re not too fond of heights: the staircase turns a corner, you can’t see how high up you are, and this appears to work. The tower, also known as 'The Periscope', offers a splendid view of the Fochteloërveen with waving grass, heather, shrubs and fens. You might even catch a glimpse of a crane couple flying by!
