De Jachthoeve | Farm store and care farm - Wekerom

De Jachthoeve is located on the edge of the forest in rural Wekerom. It is a wonderful, peaceful place to stop during your cycling trip. Here you can enjoy a green environment full of nature, winding country roads, forests and fields.

As a care farm with daytime activities, De Jachthoeve is not just any stop. Visitors experience a warm, social atmosphere here. People with intellectual disabilities or psychological difficulties work together on meaningful activities, such as caring for the fruit orchard with dozens of fruit varieties, baking cakes and running the farm shop filled with regional products.

On the cosy terrace you can enjoy a cup of coffee, tea or a refreshing drink. Of course with homemade apple pie or cheesecake. In the farm shop you will find treats such as jams made from their own fruit, juices, nut mixes, tableware, gifts and other regional products, perfect to take along as a snack for the road.

During the season (approximately June to November) you can even pick fruit yourself in the picking garden or fruit orchard. A fun and active stop during your cycling route.
