De Helderse Vallei - Den Helder

De Helderse Vallei is located in the Mariëndal nature reserve, on the south side of Den Helder, in the immediate vicinity of dunes, beach, woods and marshy recreation areas. You can visit the museum for cycling and walking routes, a permanent exhibition about nature in Den Helder, temporary exhibitions, excursions, lectures, children's activities, the children's farm and a garden full of educational elements. De Helderse Vallei can be found at the car park of the forest 'Donkere Duinen'.

From 1 May to 30 September, the children's farm is open until 17:00. It is open on Mondays during the North region school holidays.
