De Doornboom is a sturdy tower mill built in 1905 on the foundation of an earlier mill from 1852. It still grinds grain for feed and flour, using its original millstone and a pair of stones. Milling by regular staff ended in the 1960s, but thanks to Stichting Akkermolens Goirle it was restored in 1970. Since then, volunteer millers run it every Saturday.
