De Bovenste Plasmolen Watermill - Plasmolen
In the autumn of 1944, De Bovenste Plasmolen was severely damaged. A shell impact in Milsbeek killed the miller, Fons Verouden, who had fled there. After his death, the mill fell into disuse. It took more than fifty years before the mill was restored to working condition, including the overhaul of the engine inside the mill. The streams and weirs were also restored by Natuurmonumenten.
After visiting the mill, you can take a walk through the adjacent nature reserve: St. Jansberg.
