De Anloup Museum Farm is located in Zuidermeer and is a small, private collection that takes you back to the farming life of the past. The collection consists of utensils, tools and everyday items from the first half of the 20th century. Everything is housed in and around a characteristic farmhouse and furnished as it once was in the village. From milk churns to mangles and from box beds to coffee roasters.
Because the museum is only open by appointment, a visit feels personal and peaceful. You have plenty of space to look around and ask questions, often to the owner himself. De Anloup is not a large museum, but that is precisely why you can see the details better. A place for those who are interested in rural life and have an eye for the everyday heritage of West Friesland.
In November and December, the museum displays more than 400 nativity scenes from all over the world.
