With the foot and bicycle ferry Pomona, you can cross the Waal daily from Wamel to Tiel and vice versa.
The ferry runs Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 18:00. On Saturdays from 8:30 to 18:00 and on Sundays and public holidays between 1 April and 1 October from 10:00 to 18:00.

At high water above 850 cm NAP, the ferry is taken out of service. At around 835 cm NAP, sailing resumes.
