Coffee house De Oude Waal - Ooij
The cosy coffee house De Oude Waal is located in the nature reserve "De Ooijpolder", right opposite the lake De Oude Waal.
There are several terraces, each with a beautiful view of the polder and farmlands, as well as De Waal bridge and Nijmegen's St. Stevenskerk.
The menu features deliciously simple dishes prepared as locally as possible and artisanally. From the pesto with the bread, to the biscuit with the coffee; everything is homemade by the kitchen team.
From April, the ice cream parlour will also reopen. Here you can buy artisanal farmhouse ice cream, prepared by IJsboerderij "De Steenoven" in Hummelo.
