In Coalmine Valkenburg you can discover the world of mining. The mine has been in existence since 1917 and is the only remaining visitor mine in the Netherlands. You descend into the coal mine and see what the work and life of the miners was like. You can see the machines used for coal extraction and hear the stories of the guides, who themselves used to work in the mine or come from a miner's family. They can tell you everything!
