City Hall Museum - Zierikzee

N 51.6504265 / E 3.9188504

Visit the City Hall Museum and Het Gravensteen. The name of the museum comes from the building where the museum is housed, which used to be the city hall of Zierikzee. The name Gravensteen did not originate in a complicated way either, because it used to be the Count's stone house. This used to be the administrative centre of the Count of Holland, Zeeland and West Friesland. It is also the oldest prison in Zeeland, which you can still see when you walk through it. Getting hungry or thirsty after walking around? You can enjoy a cup of coffee with a Zeeland Bolus in the museum café or enjoy a tasty lunch.
