Cheese farm Captein - Zoeterwoude
Captein Cheese Farm makes cheese the artisanal way and they are proud of it! Here, everything is determined by human intervention, nothing is controlled by a computer. The cheese even gets its final shape in wooden barrels and is lifted from the cheese tub into them with linen cloths. As these barrels keep the brand-new cheese warm for longer, they ensure a unique flavour formation. Taste it yourself!
In the shop, you can buy mainly their own cheese. They also sell a few types of low-fat, goat and sheep cheese from fellow cheese farmers.
