Café De Pruuver - Afferden

Afferden is located a stone’s throw from the German border, when you leave Siebengewald out of consideration. It is a church village on the Maas. With more than 2,000 inhabitants, it forms a close community with a lot of attention for cosiness and togetherness. Where people used to gather in the old café of Restaurant De Matshoek, young and old now go to the completely renovated building that was given a new life in 2016.

A new concept called for a new name: Café de Pruuver. A modern café that is accessible to a wide audience with diverse interests. From lovers of parties, singing and dancing to connoisseurs of good beer, enthusiastic billiard players and everyone who loves cosiness in the broadest sense of the word. Café de Pruuver also organises various events, including the Offerse fair, carnival and other forms of Burgundian craziness.
