The Broek- and Simontjespolder is located north of the Leidse Meren neighbourhood. It is a beautiful typical Dutch polder with cows, ditches and a windmill. The polder was originally 260 hectares. Due to the construction of the Leidse Meren neighbourhood a large part was depoldered and about 50 hectares of the original polder remain.
