Brasserie Zonnestraal - Hilversum

Brasserie Zonnestraal is located in a special location. The former sanatorium is a unique and world-famous complex, designed by Jan Duiker. The architect made a special design for the time of 1928. He used materials such as steel and concrete, which was an exceptional feat at the time. This gives the location a lot of historical value and a protected status. Recently the building was completely renovated.

Upon arrival of junction 31 you will be notified to follow the route to Brasserie Zonnestraal. Cycle in line with street de Bosdrift and after 350 meters turn right to the Kolhornseweg. After 75 meters, make a left turn to the Johan de Witstraat. In line with this street, you will arrive at the Landgoed Zonnestraal. Pick up a road map to walk the estate and rest at Brasserie Zonnestraal.

Thanks to the large parking lot at the brasserie, this place is very suitable as a starting point. And honestly, after a long bike ride you also earned a nice snack and drink afterwards.
