Get off your bike and walk a little to get to this bird-watching hut. From this bird-watching hut, you have a view of a small lake and the Potschar nature reserve. In winter, this is a good place to see the Smew. You can also see siskins, pipits and with a lot of luck a barn owl or a kingfisher. The bird-watching hut is the result of a joint project of students from Friesland College, Staatsbosbeheer, Bond van Friese Vogelwachten and local farmers.
