BijEnErmelo - Ermelo
Near the Schaapskooi in Ermelo are a number of apiaries: those of the bee association BijEnErmelo. A group of enthusiastic local beekeepers and bee lovers keep their hives here. There are regular beekeeping demonstrations at the sheepfold. At the information centre, you can learn more about how the local honey is produced and, of course, buy a jar of honey.
There are more addresses where you can buy the 'Echte Ermelose Honing'. Many of the affiliated beekeepers have a self-service counter at their homes. On the association's website, you can see at the Honey Map where you can buy honey directly from the beekeeper.
