The flour mill was built in 1712. A striking detail on the mill is the image on the beard, a wooden decorative board that is located just below the hood at the front. A sawed-out bottle can be seen in the centre of that beard. It is a reference to the coat of arms of Vlissingen. Biggekerke used to be a glory of this city. The mill is currently in good condition. The Brasser mill is in daily operation; father and son Brasser then grind the flour for numerous bread and baking products.
