B&B De Kerk Doorwerth - Doorwerth

After a year of renovations, Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Doorwerth has been given a new purpose. The church, from 1933, has retained its intimate appearance and you experience a soothing atmosphere. Upon entering, you have a view of the unusual ceiling that is shaped like an inverted nave. Also preserved is the Mary Chapel with a replica of the Lourdes grotto with a statue of Mary and Bernadette.

Each room or suite has a unique appearance due to the presence of original stained glass windows, stone-clad columns, confessionals or the former presbytery.

A delicious breakfast is served in the breakfast room. A unique atmosphere is created by serving it at long tables with pews on either side.

From the B&B you can enjoy 4 seasons of nature. Because the church is located on the southern edge of the Veluwe you will find a great diversity of landscapes: woods, streams, heaths, floodplains and a view of the Betuwe. Because of our location directly at the forest you can start your tour by foot or by bike.
