You ride for a while along the Weipoortsche Vliet, with the Westbroekpolder on your left and the Oostbroekpolder on your right. A little further on you cycle past the pumping station of the Westbroekpolder from 1978. Nowadays polder pumping stations are much smaller than older ones. The simple green cabinet is therefore a symbol of the way Rijnland now keeps the region dry.
